Chef Hugh found his true passion for food and culinary through fishing with his dad as a kid. He always loved the taste of fresh seasonal food especially seafood which transpired into his long career in culinary. Chef Hugh has a long history in hospitality and culinary starting at the age of 15 where he was a dishwasher. At the age of 18, he started cooking at Longhorn Steakhouse and soon after went on to graduate from culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu. Chef continued his culinary experience at Marlow’s Tavern, The Whisky at Dr. Phillips until he found his true test in fine dining. Chef began his Sous Chef career with Vines Grille and Wine Bar finding his true talent and perfecting it as a Chef Partner at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar. In spring of 2020, Chef Hugh transitioned to become a huge part of The Aardvark Orlando bringing his culinary talents creating a menu filled with delectable and flavors of FRESH!
